Congratulations to Matt Gawel on his first Syndicate victory since joining the club late last season. This was Matt’s 5th final table and 6th cash in just eight events, and the win moves him into a tie for 2nd place on the leaderboard.
Matt can add this (imaginary) trophy to the shelf alongside the real hardware from his four MSPT and RunGood wins over the past couple of years. 🏆
In 2nd place was Scotty “All or Nothing” Najjar, who continues to top the leaderboard after posting his third top-2 finish of the season.
Finishing in 3rd place was TK, earning his second third-place finish and fourth final table overall. Tom Luu came in 4th place and John Borges and Paul Hopkins came in 5th and 6th to round out our money winners.

The Leaderboard: With his 2nd-place finish this tournament, Scott not only maintained his lead but extended it over the field.
We now have two new players right behind him, as Tom L and Matt G are now tied for 2nd place on the leaderboard. Their move up drops Robert, Alan, and Jonkey two spots each, into 4th through 6th place.
TK also made a significant move this week and now sits in 7th place following his finish.
Next Up: Our 20th Anniversary Event is Saturday, January 24th at 3pm. This event features a 50k starting stack with rebuys allowed for the first six levels. Here are all the details.
After That: Our next regular season event is Saturday, February 7th at 3:15. This will be a Big Stacks event with a 250k starting stack. The evite will go out after the 20th Anniversary event.
