Congratulations to Gaby on her second Syndicate win! Gaby outlasted a tough field of 51 players in one of our largest events in several years. With so many entrants and chips in play, the action ran deep – and by the time the infamous “level of death” arrived at 1:15 a.m., four players were still in the mix. At the 50,000/100,000/100,000 level, there were only 21 big blinds total in play!
It didn’t last long, though. The chip leader heading into four-handed play, Alan, doubled up Robert and was eliminated shortly after in 4th place. Lena followed in 3rd, setting up a quick heads-up battle between Robert and Gaby that wrapped up in just a few hands.
This marks Gaby’s second Syndicate victory, with her first coming back in Event 4 of Season 18. Rounding out the money finishers were Farid (5th), Tom L (6th), and Matt G (7th).
