Congratulations to Ranjit for his second win of the Season! Ranjit never seemed to have a big stack throughout the tournament but he somehow managed to keep not busting out until he finally just won the event! This was Ranjit’s seventh Syndicate victory and the second time that he’s won two events in a season (in season 17).
In 2nd place was Alan for his eleventh runner-up finish in his Syndicate career. Alan’s first time as an almost winner was way back in Event 17 of Season 6 (yes, we played 20 event per season back in the day!)
In 3rd place was Matt Hopkins, for his third final table appearance and second top-3 finish of the season. In 4th place was the new guy Matt G, who had a solid finish in just his second Syndi event. Dana M, the Syndicate’s preeminent Steely Dan aficionado, came in 5th place.
And in 6th place, to round out our money winners, was our Season-9 overall runner-up and Syndicate Main Event representative, Wayne Moeck.

The Leaderboard The top of the leaderboard stayed the same with Andi, Keithy, Farid and Scott N all hanging on to spots 1 through 4 – despite getting zero points between them! With his 2nd place finish this week, Alan moved up seven spots into 5th place and is now in striking distance of the main event spots. We also now have Wendi and Ranjit moving up into the guaranteed seats, bumping down Christopher and Steve.
Next Up Event 14 is a RE-ENTRY tournament with a 25k starting stack on Saturday, March 29 at 3pm. Re-entries (plus a surrender option) are allowed through the end of level 6.
